I've only started understanding in the last year how much a hair cut and styling makes a difference for wavy and curly hair. I sought out someone who not only had the expertise but lives in the experience of textured hair person. I needed not only a flattering cut, but I also needed to understand how to style my hair on my own. Jackie did a wonderful job with creating a look (cut and color) and listening to me. Maybe equally importantly, she walked me through step-by-step on how to style my hair. She explains not only the "how" but also the "why", which is very helpful.
